Lilly Grace

Some funny things I don't want to forget.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
"Mom, that lady is really old huh?" (pointing and staring at elderly woman in store)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
"Mom, when summertime comes (pause) ... I will bring you a dandelion."
-----------------------------------------------------------------
"Mom, if you let me/give me _____________, I will getchya a sucker at the store later!? (smiling eagerly- thinking the same bribery I use on her will work on me)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
"Dad, I love you as big as Nana's house!"
------------------------------------------------------------------
"Mom, why does he have big boobs like that?" - wonderment concerning an obese man standing by us in Wal Mart.

P.S. If you have no idea who Diana Barry is, don't even bother.

Homemade Glamour Shots

Finally!- Some pictures of Megan that will mark Year One of her life. I have been meaning to take her somewhere..... but as past experience and now, very recent experience has shown, she doesn't enjoy the picture thing. My main goal was to get ONE NICE PICTURE... I think that was too much to ask. All she wanted to do was love on the geen care bear- and pick her nose... Oh well, this is her right now and I love it!

February 1st

Lilly thinks it's the coolest that Stacy is her birthday buddy. This year, French Silk Pie and the Super Bowl marked the occasion. Happy Birthday girls!

I Can Do It All By Myself!

I have been having troubles getting Meg to eat unless it is something she can pick up. So I bought some little bowls and utensils to let her start doing it herself.... and Surprise Surprise, she loves it! Lilly likes to help clean her up (using 100 baby wipes in the process).

"I'm four Dad!, and next time I will be sixteen!"

So we invited 10 of Lilly's favorite girlfriends over for a Fancy Nancy inspired Tea Party.
We ate heart shaped pb&j, grapes, mini pink cupcakes, heart shaped sugar cookies, and cherry 7up accessorized with purple heart shaped ice cubes. Lilly and I glued jewels onto her plate and cup because she was the birthday girl. She loved it!

Grandma Patti with her grand daughters.

Balloon Popping Game

Pinata and Presents

Everyone took turns hitting the pinata. When it burst, it was like and end of year sale at Macy's...
Lily, Lilly, and Halee - Opening presents. (Later Lil told Leslie this was her favorite part of the party.... go figure...

Fancy Nancy books, James Avery jewelry, American Girl paraphernalia, a new book shelf, a porcelain teaset, and we can't forget the male barbie that looks JUST LIKE her dad, and more. Lilly made off like a bandit.

I wish I had taken a picture of the favor baskets we gave everyone. They were heart shaped baskets, adorned with grograin bows, fake jewelry, glitter body mist, a fancy pen, stickers, a pinkalicious or purplicious book, and a picture frame with a pic of them with the birthday girl in it.-- I so overdid it.

"Thanks Daddy."

Playtime after the Tea Party

Meg was happy as long as she had food in her mouth.... teething is rough and today was no exception.
Mariah, Lily, and Ainslee being domesticated.

Halee, Lilly, and Marley playing barbies.

Jacey and Alivia liked the pet shops.

Piper and Tandi reading a book. Too freaking cute!

Christmas Dawn (seriously!-the sun wasn't even up yet!)

All Lilly wanted from Santa was a bike. She loves it and won't stop talking about it or riding it.
Meg and her mirrored music stage.

New Bitty Baby stuff.

Christmas Eve at Church Hill Downs

Christmas Eve consisted of but was not limited to, bean soup, a grateful circle, gifts galore, new jammies, and not enough kids (in my opinion).

Twelve thousand pictures,
Eleven hundred presents,
Ten kinds of beans,
Nine-ty cream puffs,
Eight cars outside,
7 o'clock Cory got there,
Six-teen family members,
Five bawling (but grateful) people!
Four pink women,
Three great-grandparents,
Too much food,
and a family in a snow storm!
