This morning, I drove to Preston to help put up fresh farm corn. More than 20 dozen ear to be exact. - and if you don't know what that looks like, pray that you never do. I know what it looks like to shuck it, silk it, blanche it, cut every kernel off the cobs of it, and measure it to bag it for freezer storage. Pats on the back for the whole crew... Dad, Mom, Cordy, Lilly, and Paisley. Next comes the salsa and strawberry jam-- any volunteers?

I volunteer Jen to do my share, so be sure and send it on down to Nashville. That salsa is second to none!
Big hoorah to Lil for pulling her weight. We all know she eats at least that much corn in a month of Sundays!
