Ya know hoe sometimes your child will say or do something and the thought to write it down so you'll never forget it goes through your head?- but most of the time you don't write it down...
This morning as I am still motionless in bed, I can sense Nate getting dressed in his closet and Lilly talking to him. I open an eye a see her standing there, tugging on his shorts telling him to "Take ya shorts off dad. Stay heear." As she realizes he IS going to leave, she bosses him to go find her "pink kitty shoes". Now, as he has still not said anything back to her, he moves into the bedroom, sits on the bed to put his shoes on, and starts coughing (he's been pretty sick since sunday)-- Lilly stands in front of him and whispers- "Dad! Stop coughing! Mom's asleep!"
She then remembers that he is leaving and runs across the house to her room- presumably to get her shoes so he will take her with him... but no, she beats him to the back door, standing there with her purse tucked up under her arm- all ready to go. She reassured him that she had her purse and they could go now. so cute!
Later, Lilly took a nap on dad's chest while watching TV. When she woke up, she started immediatley looking for something.-- a kitten. We're pretty sure she was dreaming about playing with a kitten because she was determined to find her kitten. When she realized there was no kitten, she started trying to convince Nate to go get one... (that didn't work)
Since the 'booga' disappeared, she has really blossomed- especially her communication skills- and i love listening to what she has to say and how she describes her thoughts- so fun!

Well, you just wait. Pretty soon you'll be begging her to take that "booga" back when you can't get her to be quiet...
She and Lauren could have thier own club.
